How does the CSV upload work for batch QR generation?
Prepare a CSV file where the first column contains the URLs or text content for each QR code. The header row is automatically skipped. Upload via the "Upload CSV" button in the Batch tab. The tool extracts the first column from each row, displays the content list, and generates QR codes when you click "Generate All".
What is the maximum number of QR codes in one batch?
The batch generator supports up to 500 QR codes per session. Generation happens sequentially in the browser — all 500 QR codes are generated locally without any server uploads. Depending on your device, 500 QR codes at 200px takes approximately 10-30 seconds. A progress bar shows the real-time status.
How do I download all batch QR codes?
After generation completes, click "Download All" to download all successfully generated QR codes. Each file is named qr-[index]-[content].png. Files are downloaded sequentially with a 150ms delay between each to avoid browser blocking. For large batches on some browsers, you may need to allow multiple downloads in browser settings.
Can I use batch QR for product labels or inventory?
Yes — prepare a CSV with product URLs or SKU codes, generate the batch, and download individual PNGs for each product. Each QR is named with the content for easy identification. For large-scale production labeling, we recommend using a dedicated label printing software that can import the PNGs and apply them to label templates.
Can I customize the style for batch QR codes?
Batch QR codes use the currently selected error correction level. For styling (colors, module shape, logos), the batch generator uses standard settings (black on white, square modules) to ensure maximum scan reliability across 500+ QRs. For custom-styled batch QR codes, generate them individually in the Generate tab.
Is there a ZIP download for all batch QR codes?
Currently, batch QR codes are downloaded as individual PNG files. ZIP download will be added in a future update. As a workaround, click "Download All" which triggers sequential downloads — your browser will download all files to your default Downloads folder where you can then ZIP them manually.
